We are looking for a skilled Senior QA Automation Lead who is passionate about delivering high-quality applications to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, automation frameworks, and leading QA teams, with specific experience in testing native mobile apps for both iOS and Android platforms. Your primary responsibility will be managing and scaling our mobile test automation efforts, defining test plans, and occasionally managing and performing manual testing cycles when necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, manage, and maintain our mobile test automation strategy, tools, and frameworks, with a focus on native iOS and Android applications
- Lead and mentor the development team in designing and implementing test automation code for mobile applications using Appium with Java and Cypress with JavaScript
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to define test plans and ensure seamless integration with our development process
- Establish quality metrics and monitor their progress to drive continuous improvement in the quality of our products
- Manage manual testing on mobile platforms when required and provide guidance to the team on best practices for manual testing
- Review test results and identify, document, and track defects to resolution
- Participate in product requirement analysis and provide input on testability and coverage
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in mobile testing and automation, ensuring our QA processes and tools remain up to date and effective
